Description: This work was originally composed in 2005 after the completion of Southern Salute for solo bass voice. It was at that time Dr. Alexandra Mascolo-David implanted the idea that Mr. Neer should compose a virtuostic piece for solo piano. This work was commissioned for Dr. Alexandra Mascolo-David and is scheduled for premier March 29, 2012 at Central Michigan University. The work features a very Romantic style melody with many modern, virtuostic elements. We invite you to take on this score with much passion and those looking for a "player's challenge."
